THE WAY WE WORSHIP

We are a local New Testament church and we worship God as the early Christians did.

Here are a few scripture references to help you understand why:

• We stand when we sing - II Chronicles 20:19

​

• We clap our hands - Psalm 47:1

​

• We lift our hands - I Timothy 2:8; Psalm 134:2

​

• We pray out loud - Acts 4:24

​

• We play musical instruments - Psalm 150

​

• We sing in English and we sing in other tongues -  I Corinthians 14:13-14

​

• You may hear someone speak out in an unknown language - I Corinthians 14:2

​

• Then, you may hear someone speak out in English (this is tongues and the interpretation of tongues) - I Corinthians 12

​

• Someone may fall to the floor while being prayed for - John 18:6; Acts 9:4 & Revelation 1:17

• Someone may dance during the worship service - Psalm 149:3, Psalm 150:4
